About Magic:
He is one of the most recent deceased rappers.I remember him mostly by the song,''Can't Be Touched'',which he recorded with his group Body Head Bangerz.
To me,this song is like an anthem of all gyms. Not to mention that, this song is very motivating, especially knowing that Magic wasn't buffed before this music video.
It's also motivating to se a professional boxer,Roy Jones Jr. (who is the member of the Body Head Bangerz group),rapping in the music video.
I also like Magic's 2002 song,''What'',very much. The music video was pretty funny.I'm surprised it didn't reach more success.
As Magic was alive until just 2 years ago,and he was ''todays'' rapper,of course I was pretty shocked when I heard that he died, especially because I was listening Body Head Bangerz songs, every time I was exercising, and I still do.

Generally about Magic:
Magic (real name
Awood Johnson),was born on August 16,1975 in New Orleans,Louisiana,U.S.
He started rapping at the talent shows in New Orleans,in one of which he was noticed by rapper C-Murder,the brother of rapper, and No Limit Records owner,Master P.who signed him to the label.
After featuring on C-Murder's songs ''Picture Me'' and ''Watch Yo Enemies'',in 1998,he released his first solo album ''Sky's the Limit'',in the same year. The album achieved solid success, and it reached nr 15 on the Billboard 200.On August 31,1991,Magic released his second album Thuggin',the album peaked 25 on the Billboard 200.
After poor sales of his third album ''White Eyes'',and after overall decline of No Limit Records,Magic followed his former label mates and severed his relationship with No Limit in 2003.
He signed with Koch Records, for which he released as it turned, his last solo album,''On My Own''.The album was released on August 26,2003,just about 5 months after his last No Limit album,''White Eyes''.The album sold poorly, and it failed to reach charts.

In 2004,Magic joined fellow New Orleans rapper,Choppa and former heavyweight boxing champion Roy Jones Jr.,to form the group ''Body Head Bangerz'',with whom he released the album ''Body Head Bangerz: Volume One'',in the same year.
The album produced hits,''I Smoke I Drank'' and ''Can't Be Touched''.
In 2006,Magic was shortly signed to TVT Records, but he left without releasing any material.
In 2011,he founded his own record label,Banx Entertainment.

Magic's Death:
On March 1,2013,Magic and his wife Chastity were killed in a car accident in Hattiesburg,Mississippi.Their then 12-year-old daughter,Twila, was in the car,but fortunately she survived.

After Magic's death, many rap artists expressed their condolences, including Magic's group mates Choppa and Roy Jones Jr.,as well as Slikk The Shocker and his much more famous brother Mater P,even though they had a short beef after Magic's departure from No Limit.
