Place of death:Ypsilanti,Michigan
Cause of death:Kidney failure

About MC Breed:
Breed was the rapper, which I always remembered only as that guy who made the song ''
Gotta Get Mine'' with 2pac,and also by his song,''Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin''.But I wasn't the only one. Those two songs are his most famous songs, and I know many hip hop fans who have only heard about these two songs by MC Breed,(although I heard some of his other songs recently, and they are pretty good). As for my general opinion about him,I can say that I always looked at MC Breed as a typical 90s rapper by his style, and every time I wanted to ''go back'' in the 90s,I listened to his songs, especially,''Gotta Get Mine''.Not just because of 2pac,but because Breed was great too,and they both made that song the hip-hop classic. It's interesting to mention that MC Breed was born just 4 days before 2pac.Although I must say that,to me,he looked much older than 2pac.But that's irrelevant. It's more important to say that,is sad how one more 90s rapper, died before his old age.Although I got to mention that,at least he wasn't killed, like many other rappers were. But still,it was a lil' bit of shocking to me,as a hard hip hop fan, when I found out that he died.Especially knowing that he was a friend of 2pac's.

Generally about MC Breed:
MC Breed (real name Eric Breed) was born on June 12,1971,in Flint Michigan. He released his first album,at the age of 20,on November 12,1991.The album was called,''MC Breed & DFC''.It was a colaboration with the group DFC,which member was MC Breed's cousin,Alpha ''Al'' Breed. The album has produced the two hit singles,''Ain't  No Future in Yo Frontin''' which made it to nr. 12 of Hot Rap Singles, and ''Just Kickin' It'',which made it to nr. 10 of Hot Rap Singles. After this success,MC Breed became the first commercially successful rapper from the Midwest. His first solo album which was called,''20 Below'',was released on May 5,1992.The album had a solid success, but not as good as his first album with DFC.As MC Breed was working with G-Funk sound (among with other sounds),he became a friend with some of the westcoast rappers, like The D.O.C.,Spice 1,Too Short and 2pac.It was colaboration with 2pac,on his third album ''The New Breed'' (April 27,1993),that produced his probably the best hit,''Gotta Get Mine'' which made it to nr. 6 on the Hot Rap Singles.2pac was featured in two songs,''Comin' Real Again'' and already mentioned ''Gotta Get Mine''.Although that single was big success,''The New Breed'' wasn't Breed's most successful album. It was his next album ''Funkafied'',which was released on June 7,1994.The album peaked #9 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. After this success,MC Breed released more than a 10 albums before his death, but never broke into the mainstream again. His last album, which was not a compalation album, was released on August 24,2004,under the name ''The New Perscription''.After that release,a problems started to coming for MC Breed.First he was sentenced to one year in prison for violation of probation in failure to pay more than $200,000
in child support. After his release from prison in 2007,he was again arrested on April 3,2008 for the same reason.

MC Breed's Death:
On September 5,2008,MC Breed was hospitalized and placed on life-support after he collapsed when his kidneys failed during a game of pickup basketball. At the time,he was working on his new album ''The Original Breed: Swag Heavy''.After he was released from the hospital two days after collapsing,he stated that album is half finished.Unfortunately,he never get a chance to finish it,because he died in his sleep,on November 22,2008,while he was at his friend's house in Ypsilanti,Michigan.Right before his death he was preparing to release a documentary about his life, tittled:''Where Is MC Breed?''.He recorded his last song,''Everyday I wait'',just two days before his death. The song has featured the Outlawz.
