About Big Pun:                                                                                  Big Pun (short for Big Punisher) was really a ''rap dictionary''.I always liked his repertoire of words, many of which, every other rapper never used.He made an incredible rhymes, and they make you listen to his songs, over & over again. The best Big Pun song,to me personally,is ''You Ain't a Killer''.It's amazing how he pronounce the words in that song (like in any other song made by him),and how he perfectly harmonises lyrics with the beat. Also I think he is much better rapper than his friend Fat Joe (no offence to Fat Joe,who is a good rapper),and many hip-hop fans thinks the same. This is supported by the fact that even Fat Joe himself admits it,(which is not typical for him).Like a many rappers that died too young, the reason why Big Pun didn't make a very big career, like his fellow rapper & friend already, mentioned Fat Joe,or even bigger,is that he died at the age of 28,with just 5 years of rap career.Hip-hop fans will never get over the fact, that he could make a many more songs with epic lyrics.

Generally about Big Pun:
Big Pun (real name Christopher Lee Rios) was born on November 10,1971,in The Bronx,NYC.At the beginning,in the first half of 90s, he was an underground rapper in the group which he formed with Triple Seis and Cuban Link (later Terror Squad members). The group was called ''Full-A-Clips''.In 1995,he met Fat Joe,who will also be a member of the ''Terror Squad'' & one of the Big Pun's best friends. At the same year,Big Pun made his commercial debut on Fat Joe's second album ''Jealous One's Envy''.Shortly after that,in 1997,after featuring on The Beatnuts' track ''Off the Books'',producer Knobody,of the ''Loud Records'',heard his big underground hit,''I'm Not a Player''.He remixed the song, and called it ''Still Not a Player''.The song featured R&B singer Joe,and was Pun's first mainstream hit,and it was a breakthrough for both,Big Pun & Knobody. The success of the song allowed Big Pun to release his debut album ''Capital Punishment'' on April 28,1998,for Loud Records (which artists at the time were, among the others,Wu Tang Clan,Mobb Deep,Xzibit...).That album became the first album by solo Latino rapper to go multiplatinum & even was nominated for Grammy Award. At the same year ''Terror Squad'' was formed. The members were,Big Pun,Fat Joe,Cuban Link,Triple Seis,Prospect & Armageddon. On September 21,1999,the group released their debut album called,''The Album'',with big Big Pun's contribution, and the hit record ''Whatcha Gon Do?'',which was sung by Big Pun.His second and the last album he made during his life,''Yeeeah Baby'', was released on April 4,2000,almost two months after his death. The album wasn't as successful as his first album, but also went platinum, and it gave two singles,''It's So Hard'' & ''100%''.

Big Pun's Death:
Because he struggled with a weight problem since his early 20s,he participated in a weight-loss program in which he lost 80 pounds (36 kg),but he eventually quit the program, and got back the weight,he had lost.On February 7,2000,Big Pun had an fatal heart attack in Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains,New York, where he was temporarily staying with his familly, during a home renovation. He was pronunced dead at the hospital after paramedics could not bring him back to life.At the time of his death,Big Pun was at his highest weight,698 pounds (317 kg).He was cremated in New York, few days later. He had a wife & three children.
